    Manuel Mendoza (35) Winton.  Sentencing on cultivation of marijuana charges.  3 years felony probation, 180 days jail, fine $2830, lifetime registration as drug offender, probation transferred to Merced County.

    Carlos Jamie Anquiano Canareno (35) Mexico.  Sentencing on cultivation of marijuana charges.  3 years felony probation, 180 days jail, fine $2820, lifetime registration as drug offender.  As a displaced foreign traveler he was deported to Mexico.

    Jesse Dunham (26) Downieville.  Drive while suspended with a prior conviction.  3 years probation, 5 days jail, fine $2130.

    Christopher Coolidge (24) Sparks NV.  Violation of probation on underlying offense of residential burglary.  Admitted use of alcohol and use of controlled substance.  Sentencing on August 10.  He remains in custody.

    Craig Lopez (22)  Reno Nv.  fail to pay fine.  Additional assessment of $214 added, reinstated on probation.
   
    Keith DeMartini (30).  Case dismissed upon successful completion of probation on charges of hunting with a spotlight.

    Michael Hidde II (42) Portola.  After a contested preliminary hearing, was ordered to stand trial on felony charges of grossly negligent discharge of a firearm, brandishing a firearm to a peace officer to resist arrest, and threatening a peace officer.  He remains in custody in lieu of $100,000 bail.

    Eric Stinger (21) Sierra City.  Violation of probation for being in a place that sells alcohol and for consuming alcohol.  5 days jail, terms of probation modified to include search for drugs.

    Arnaldo Uribe (28)  Truckee.  Hunting a possession of non-game bird, (four robins).  4 years probation, fine $3305.

    Dean Griffin (36)  Calpine.  Felony driving under the influence with prior convictions.  sentencing on August 24.
 
    Tamara Tracy (27) Portola.  False registration of an automobile.  18 months probation, 1 day jail, fine $770.

    Thomas Burch (21) Susanville.  Driving while suspended.  18 moths probation, fine $1340.

William Eisner (59) Loyalton. Violation of probation for committing another assault. 90 days jail, probation reinstated.

Linda Verducci (49) Reno. Driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above. 3 years probation, 48 hours jail, fine $2200, alcohol classes. 

Sandra Neil (53) Calpine. Allowing an unlicensed person to operate a motor vehicle. fine $360.

Michelle Shumway (42) Verdi. Battery on co-habitant. One year DA diversion.

Dennis Scott (28) Stockton. False information to peace officer, no valid driver's license. Sentencing on May 11. He remains in custody.

Dario Cruz IV (20) and Aaron Robison (22) both of Reno. Robison was sentenced on residential burglary to 210 days jail, 5 years probation and a fine of $2150 (Cruz had previously been given the same sentence). After a contested restitution hearing, both were ordered to pay the victim $33,355 in damages, with interest of 10% from date of the burglary, plus 10% to the County of Sierra for administrative fee in the collection of the restitution.

Patrick Carter (25) Grass Valley. False information to a peace officer, failure to appear. Two years probation, 4 days jail, fine $1048.

Scott Burns (50) California State Prison, Vacaville. After a contested hearing before the board of parole, Burns was denied parole for another year. Burns was sentenced to 17 years to life for second degree murder with a firearm that occurred in June 1987. The victim was 65year old Robert Smith who was killed by Burns at Colvert Mine in Sierra County.

Daniel Ashby (34) Yuba City. Delaying and resisting an officer, and speeding. Fines $799.

Everett Wells (51) Florissant, Mo. Violation of probation on underlying offense of theft of an automobile. One year jail, probation terminated unsuccessfully.

Tammy Warren (35) Loyalton. Escape from custody. One year state prison.

Dale Tew (31) Truckee. Reckless driving, alcohol related, child endangerment. 18 months probation, fine $1360, alcohol school, one day jail.

Christopher Wyatt (35) Sacramento. Sentenced on violation of probation with underlying offense of first degree (residential burglary). One year jail, probation extended to 2012.

Michael Irving (39) Loyalton. Sentenced on second degree (commercial burglary) with a prior strike enhancement. 32 months state prison to be served after 48 months sentence imposed on a separate burglary conviction in Federal Court.

Eric Stringer (21) Sierra City. Sentencing on felony driving under the influence causing injury. 5 years probation,180 days jail, fines $2300, alcohol school.

Ryan Grandi (23), Kimberly Barnes (26) Calpine. After contested restitution hearing, were ordered to pay $8135 in restitution and 10. Sentenced on felony grand theft to 5 years probation, fines $1300, stayed pending successful completion of probation and drug court.

Jamie Ridgeway (23) Marysville. Sentenced on felony driving under the influence with three prior convictions. 5 years probation, 180 days jail, after which she is to 310 days in a residential treatment program, fine $2492, four year driving privilege suspended.

Kailum Clark (29) Forest Hill. Driving while suspended with prior convictions. 18 months probation, 60 days jail, fine $1300.

Christopher Rupert (25) Loyalton. Driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above. 3 years probation, 48 hours jail, fine $2202, 9 month alcohol school.

Tammy Warren (42) Loyalton. After a contested preliminary hearing, was ordered to stand trial on felony escape from custody, and two counts of battery on a co-habitant. She remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail.

Dario Cruz III (19) and Aaron Robison (21) both of Reno. Pled guilty to felony first degree [residential] burglary and felony vandalism. Sentencing is set for January 19, 2010. Both remain in custody in lieu of $80,000 bail.

Michael Irving (39) Loyalton. Pled guilty to felony second degree [commercial] burglary and admitted a prior serious felony [strike] conviction. Sentencing and restitution hearing is scheduled for February 9. He remains free having posted bail of $50,000.

Scott Birk (23) and Kyle Beverage (21) both of Loyalton. After a contested preliminary hearing, both were ordered to stand trial on felony charges of child endangerment. They remain in custody on bail of $30,000 for Birk, and $105,000 for Beverage.

Roy Ruff (50) Camptonville. Driving with a 08 blood alcohol or above, child endangerment. 3 years probation, 48 hours jail, $2400 fine, alcohol programs.

Rebecca Penn (32) Loyalton. Drunk in public. 1 day jail, 3 months probation, AA sessions.

Kyle Beverage (21) Loyalton. After a contested preliminary hearing, was ordered to stand trial on felony charges of attempting to deter a peace officer by threats of violence, battery on a peace officer, and drunk in public. He remains in custody in lieu of $45,000 bail [an additional bail of $10,000 was added for a probation violation, and an new case charging felony child endangerment brought a bail of an additional $50,000 for a total bail of $105,000.

William Kenny (52) Goodyears Bar. Driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or above. 48 months probation, 48 hours jail, fine $2400, alcohol school.

Robert Bennett (58) Bisbee Arizona. After a contested preliminary hearing, was ordered to stand trial on felony charges of possession for sale of a controlled substance, and transportation of a controlled substances. He remains free after posting $25,000 bail.

Jonathan Seegar (37) Reno. Plead guilty to felony charges of possession of stolen property. Sentencing is scheduled for December 10.

Aaron Robison (20) Reno, and Dario Cruz IV (19) of Sparks, waived their right to a preliminary hearing and were ordered to stand trial on felony charges of residential burglary, vandalism, possession of stolen property, and grand theft of a firearm. They remain in custody in lieu of $80,000 bail each.

Jamie Ridgeway (23) Marysville. Plead guilty to felony driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or greater, driving while suspended, and she admitted three prior convictions for driving under the influence. Sentencing is set for January 5. She remains in custody in lieu of $50,000 bail.

William Hiatt (25) Ladera Ranch. Driving with a blood alcohol level of .08 or greater, with a prior conviction for driving under the influence. 3 years probation, 10 days jail, fine $2386, alcohol school.

Sherry Gibb (52) Reno. Passing a bad check as a felony. Sentencing is set for January 19, immediate payment of $2,000 in restitution was received.

Michael Irving (39) Loyalton. After waiving his right to a preliminary hearing, was ordered to stand trial on felony charges of commercial burglary, grand theft, and an allegation of a past conviction of a serious (strike) felony.

Christopher Wyatt (34), Auburn. After admitting a violation of probation for consuming alcohol on underlying offense of residential burglary, was ordered sent to prison at Susanville for a 90 day diagnostic, and to be sentenced upon return.

Colton Gough (20) Vacaville. Shooting squirrels with no hunting license. Fine $988.

Randy Evans (48) Reno. After a contested trial by court, without a jury, was convicted of driving under the influence and fail to appear. Sentencing postponed until December 4.
