SC at the fair

Sierra County was awarded a Silver Ribbon (2nd place) at the 2010 

California State Fair. The booth was put together with a committee 

from the Chamber of both sides of the Yuba Pass. Visitors at the fair 

take more pictures of the Sierra County booth than any other. The 

booth is an idyllic setting of a picnic in a beautiful Honda ATV 

occupied by bears on their way fishing in the Lakes Basin area. Photos 

by Darby Hayes of many locations in eastern and western county adorn 

all three walls. Sierra County Visitor guides and Campground guides 

along with individual brochures of many areas are available to 

enthralled fairgoers...
