It is that time of year again. The Downieville Lions Club is preparing the calendar for 2011. Ad space is $48 per single or $96 for a double space ad. Birthdays are fifty cents (.50) per listing. Anniversary, Memorial and Special Event listings are also available at .50 each.
The Lion’s Club Calendar is very popular, so get your listings and calendar orders in quickly. The deadline is August 31. Calendars can be pre-ordered at $4.00 each.
Money from the calendar is used for Scholarships each year. The 2010 graduating class received two scholarships as a result of community participation in the Downieville Lions Club Calendar project.
