Butte Humane Society Seeks Computers
Submitted by R. Guffin
The Butte Humane Society, a non-profit out of Chico, is looking for unwanted electronic donations as they prepare for summer and their seasonal increase on intake of animals. The unseasonably warm weather early this year will result in an unprecedented number of kittens and puppies. In order for the shelter to better serve the public and help improve efficiency. Computers help process more cases at a time and keep the wait time down for the public.
Butte Humane Society is looking for your support. The shelter cannot afford to buy multiple new computers , so they are seeking donations to help. Every computer donation they receive will allow them to put money towards the animals instead of toward equipment purchases.
The shelter is looking for:
Computers, no older than 3 years (their database can’t handle anything older);
LCD monitors (flat screen)
The Butte Humane Society is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit, so all donations are tax-deductible. Any help that can be given will be greatly appreciated and helps the shelter towards achieving their goal.
